The annual conference of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine was held on 21 September 2019, for the fifth consecutive year.
The one-day educational and scientific conference is attended by aesthetic medical professionals and offers a clinical and business packed agenda. The main aims of the conference are to keep members up to date with standards of good practice and the latest treatments and techniques. It also includes a business agenda that provides conference delegates with the latest medical-legal updates and general data protection regulations.
The Assembly Hall hosted the AGM and the conference for 200 attendees. Refreshments throughout the day and lunch were served in the nearby Hoare Memorial Hall and Bishop Partridge Hall, which also included exhibition areas. Live demonstrations took place in the Harvey Goodwin Suite, whilst several other event spaces accommodated workshops during the day. Press conferences were held in the Council Room and the Business and Clinical Forum was held in the Convocation Hall.
Multiple presentations and interactive panel discussions provided conference attendees with the opportunity to explore topics that included body sculpting, skin and hair care. Live demonstrations included neck and brow lifting, and a barbed thread skin lift from some of the world’s leading experts in medical aesthetics.
The annual conference was supported by 24 sponsors. These sponsors hosted an exhibition showcasing their services to keep attendees informed of the newest developments in this fast-expanding area of medicine.
Following the AGM, an evening drinks reception for speakers, exhibitors, and attendees, was held in the Harvey Goodwin Suite providing delegates with the opportunity to network with fellow practitioners.
