On 16th June, Church House Westminster opened its doors for its annual tea party.

The tea party is a way to say thank you to some clients and staff, and this year was attended by more than 100 guests who were served afternoon tea accompanied by Prosecco and Pimms by the venue’s in-house catering partner, Ampersand. There was also a candy floss machine and pic n’ mix, which proved very popular with guests to take home.

The event also acts as a fundraiser for a charity chosen by staff at the venue, with The Westminster Food Bank being picked to benefit from the venue’s fundraising efforts. This total raised from donations was 55.8kg of food and toiletries plus a financial donation of £52.08, which will be used to buy additional stock. Members of the Church House team will also be volunteering at the charity throughout the year.

Business Development Manager, Emily Baker said: “Our annual tea party has become a firm favourite with clients and the team at Church House. Events like this not only give us the opportunity to showcase our event spaces but also the culinary expertise of Ampersand as well as raising funds for good causes.”
