International Women’s Day at Church House with Keynote Speaker Tiwa King
The Church House Team and members celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th with a visit and talk from Tiwa King!
We were lucky enough to hear Tiwa speak, as well as sing not just one, but two songs!
Tiwa King is an internationally known singer, Wellbeing Consultant, two-time TEDx speaker, BBC radio contributor, author, award-winning Social-entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Beyond a Song – an organisation on a mission to empower, build confidence and self-love; ensuring individuals’ well-being is at the core of everything they do.
Inspired by her father’s constant encouragement, from age 5, to sing ‘Amazing Grace’ at every opportunity – Tiwa’s vision is a world where everyone feels worthy enough to hold their own ‘microphone’, building the personal confidence to drive positive change – championing female empowerment, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Tiwa has worked with many amazing organisations and individuals such as Apple, The BBC, KPMG, ITV, NHS, Westfield, and now the Church House team!
The event was held in The Harvey Goodwin Suite – a versatile space that is perfect for a variety of events, with lots of natural light and space; that creates a dynamic energy for all manner of events.
