Church House Westminster has scooped Silver at the 2021 Covid Response Awards in the category ‘Best Covid-19 Response in Hospitality” on Thursday 25th November at The Kia Oval, London.
The Covid Response Awards, organised by GCN Events which is part of the Global Conference Network (GCN), salutes and pays tribute to the resilience, resourcefulness, and tenacity that have been the hallmark of corporate and non-commercial organisations response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The category ‘Best Covid-19 Response in Hospitality’ saw Church House Westminster win Silver, whilst ICC Belfast | Waterfront Hall | Ulster Hall was awarded Gold, and the Royal College of Physicians (RCP London Events) took home Bronze.
The judges’ comments for the Westminster venue’s entry “Change Brings Opportunity”, included:
“A very strong and well-structured submission, the chronology helps to explain how the business adapted and especially how it managed after the loss of half the team post first lockdown.”
“Team spirit shines through in this submission, a great explanation of how they adapted and navigated the pandemic period and have emerged in a strong position for the recovery.”

A few weeks earlier the team won Gold at the 2021 M&IT Awards in the category: ‘Best UK Unusual Venue’ and Silver at the 2021 London Venue and Catering Awards in the category: “Best London Venue Covid-19 Response”.
The venue team has also been shortlisted for the following awards in 2021:
