11th annual iESE awards ceremony held at Church House

The 2020 Public Sector Transformation Awards was held at Church House Westminster on 4 March. Attended by 130 guests, the evening celebrates the success of the public sector.

Prior to the awards ceremony, late afternoon plenary sessions were conducted in the Convocation Hall, which focussed on sharing innovation and best practice.

A drinks reception in the Hoare Memorial Hall included a welcome address from the Chair, Cllr Paul Bettison as well as speeches from the sponsors. The awards ceremony is sponsored by the Berkeley Group, Assurity Systems Ltd, Netcall, MJ and The Brand Surgery, which means that no public money is spent on the event.

The awards ceremony was held in the Grade II listed Assembly Hall and the awards were live-streamed on Facebook with the expert help of Church House’s in-house audio-visual team.

A musical performance by tenor John Findon and British soprano Elizabeth Findon entertained guests prior to the announcement of the winners.

Hundreds of nominations from local authorities across the UK were submitted, from which a shortlist was compiled for the awards ceremony.
