We are very pleased to finally be able to share the part we played in the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, May 6th 2023.

The UK; London & Westminster Abbey (where the spectacular ceremony was held);  as well as the world’s media prepared for months for this once-in-a-lifetime event, and it was no different for our team at Church House. We have played a special part in many royal celebrations and events; and on this occasion, we were the privileged venue chosen to host a reception for foreign dignitaries attending the Coronation. Our team prepared for months to ensure the event went smoothly, including liaising with multiple organisations also involved in the overall coordination of the Coronation and accompanying adjacent events.

As one would expect, security for the event was extremely strict, measures of which amounted to one of the biggest security operations the UK has ever seen.

Over 20 million people in the UK tuned in to watch the televised and steamed event, with 2,200 in attendance at the ceremony itself, including the Royal Family, Heads of State, Royalty from several countries, political and business figures, as well as celebrities.

Our team worked tirelessly from the early morning into the evening to make sure the foreign dignitaries received the award-winning service all of our guests have come to know us for.

Every team and individual had an integral part to play on this momentous day; going above and beyond the call of duty.
