Two of London’s most iconic venues are partnering to offer organisers and their delegates a unique experience in the heart of Westminster.

Westminster Abbey, which dates back more than 1000 years, is working with Church House Conference Centre to deliver events that make use of both venues’ historic facilities, which include Cloisters, gardens, halls and meeting rooms.

The two venues will work together to provide receptions, dinners and events across a host of iconic spaces.  The venues are located just a short walk apart via Dean’s Yard, which is one of London’s most idyllic squares – a hidden gem of peace away from the hustle and bustle of Westminster.

“There are so many opportunities for us to work together,” comments Robin Parker, general manager of Church House Westminster.  “I envisage receptions in the Abbey followed by dinners here at Church House or perhaps a day of conferencing at Church House followed by a tour and drinks at the Abbey.  With the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Bridge, Whitehall, Big Ben and St James’ Park all within a five-minute walk we sit at the heart of historic London and together offer the perfect combination of history balanced with modern conference and event facilities.”

Church House Westminster is one of London’s leading event venues offering modern facilities, latest high quality AV and contemporary catering in a historic building that has hosted heads of state, royalty and both Houses of Parliament.

Westminster Abbey is one of the world’s most famous churches, it has been the site of 38 coronation ceremonies for British monarchs, the site of royal weddings and is the resting place for a host of historic figures including Queen Elizabeth I, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens and Sir Laurence Olivier. Westminster Abbey was founded by the Benedictine Monks, known for their hospitality, a tradition that continues today with the complimentary Abbey Welcome to all guests.

Church House Westminster will be launching the new partnership at IMEX America on Stand B2416 from 10-12 October.
