The sessions covered a wide range of topics and offered knowledge and insight for those running an art business or collection.
The conference started with an opening address from the Chair, Georgina Adam, followed by Michael Ellis, Minister for Arts, Heritage and Tourism. Other key speakers included: Melanie Gerlis from the Financial Times, Charles Saumarez Smith from the Royal Academy and Jessica Litwin from The National Portrait Gallery.
Robin Parker, General Manager at Church House Westminster commented: “It is always a pleasure to welcome back The Art Business Conference. They once again return at the beginning of September and are one of our first big events of the Autumn season, following several weeks of summer maintenance. The event is always well attended, and it is great to once again see such an interesting line-up of speakers for this year’s conference.”
