PRIDE AT CHURCH HOUSE WITH KATE MUNDAY
The Church House Team and members celebrated Pride Month on June 22nd with an Allyship talk from Kate Munday!
Kate Munday is an award-winning international speaker and champion of authenticity & DE&I.
Kate works with brands such as Google, YouTube & more; inspiring others through storey-telling and teaching others how to encourage and motivate people using their own stories.
Our team learnt about how we can be better allies to our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, friends and family by improving our social skills, becoming aware of biased language & creating psychological safety in the workplace.
The event was held in The Council Room – a versatile space that is perfect for meetings of up to 45 people, with additional space for catering.
Head of Marketing for Church House, Cinzia Marshe noted,
“Kate is an incredibly engaging speaker; her ability to connect with others through storey telling is unique; and her passion for championing authenticity is quite infectious! We were delighted to have Kate share her personal stories with us, and teach us how we can develop our social skills to create phycological safety in the workplace; therefore enabling us to be better allies to our LGBTQIA+ colleagues.”
