On 25 July 2019 it was announced that Event Coordinators Rianne Baker and Sharnez Ritchie have been promoted to Senior Coordinators with immediate effect.
Robin Parker, General Manager of Church House Westminster, commented on the two internal promotions: “This is in recognition of the extra responsibility Rianne and Sharnez have taken on since the venue’s other Senior Event Coordinators, Leah Markham and Sarah Ross, went on maternity leave.” Robin noted his appreciation on behalf of the team: “I would like to thank them both for everything they have undertaken over the last few months, they really have taken it all in their stride, and this promotion is well deserved!”.
Rianne started at Church House as an Event Coordinator in September 2016 and has almost 4 years’ experience in arranging events, following her studies at University in Events Management.
“No day in Church House is ever the same and the energy and the support from the whole team including our in-house audio-visual technicians and in-house caterer, CH&CO, make organising events for clients so much fun and very special. I am very happy to have been promoted and look forward to the opportunity to learn new things.“, Rianne said of her promotion.
Sharnez studied Music Management and Marketing at University and gained invaluable experience in various intern positions across industries before choosing the events industry 4 years ago for its fast pace and client interaction. She joined Church House as Events Coordinator less than 6 months after Rianne’s appointment.
Sharnez remarked: “I love working with my colleagues to deliver unique corporate events in our beautiful venue. We pride ourselves on offering customer excellence and it is this dedication that makes Church House a very special place to work. I am excited about the future!”.
Church House Westminster venue achieved a Gold Standard for 2018 and 2019 Q1 for the BVA BDRC VenueVerdict, which measures excellence in client experience. The Westminster venue also holds an AIM Higher gold accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association.
