Following on from Church House Westminster’s rebrand last year, clients now feel its new identity makes the venue more appealing to a wider range of events and better represents its values, according to research carried out by the venue.
The Westminster venue asked clients which words they felt best described the venue with the most frequent answers being Professional, Sophisticated, Classic, Elegant, Modern and Stylish.
Church House Westminster also asked clients whether the new branding made the venue more appealing to a wider range of events, with an overwhelming majority agreeing this was the case. Responses included:
“I think the branding perfectly encapsulates the wonderful history and nature of the building with a sophisticated and modern approach to the opportunities the spaces can bring.
“It looks extremely professional and presents the venue spaces well on the website. I received an email with the branding and arranged to visit the site last year after visiting the website and seeing how Church House presents itself. Both the branding and the presentation of the rooms was great.”
“It is more contemporary and I like the design of the ‘C’ in the main logo. The website is very easy to navigate and keeps the venue on a par with other reputable venues.”
“The new branding describes perfectly the facilities on offer to meeting, conference and event bookers.”
“Church House is no longer seen as just a conference centre anymore. The venue has definitely opened it’s avenues to all types of events from graduation ceremonies to Awards dinners.”
“I would consider Church House for various types of events whereas before I might have only considered it for conferences.”
“The new branding has more of a warmth to it that would attract a wider variety of clients.”
In line with these responses, over the last 12 months Church House has seen a diversification of types of events it hosts, such as fashion shows, award ceremonies, charity balls and public debates all taking place.
The rebrand formed part of a strategic plan as the venue looks to the future and its continued investment. The new logo was inspired by the domed Assembly Hall, and black and gold colour scheme with the branding reflecting the quality of the venue
General Manager Robin Parker commented: “When we rebranded Church House Westminster last year we wanted to highlight that we are no longer just a conference centre but a venue that can host a variety of events, from product launches and exhibitions to national consumer events and large award dinners. There has been an increase in our non-conference business and clearly our clients recognise that we have the facilities and capacity to fulfil all of their event requirements. And we have achieved this whilst retaining our core values of providing the highest quality service. It is great to be able to strengthen our position in the market place and as a result experience sustained growth as people look to hold their events in the heart of the capital.”
