On the 17th of March Church House Westminster hosted a climate-neutral networking event for Urbano Network. The event coincided with MIPIM – the annual international property event – which took place in Cannes, France. For those who couldn’t attend, Urbano network organised an alternative networking evening in London’s Westminster.
Member companies across Urbano’s communities, including architects, designers, developers, engineers, environmental experts, interior designers, insurance, investors, legal, sustainability, and zero-carbon consultants, attended the evening reception in the Bishop Partridge Hall.
The climate-neutral event featured a plant-forward menu, including:

Carbon calculator report
The TRACK report for the climate-neutral event was created by EventDecision which estimated emissions for this event to be o.105 Tonnes Co2E.
Founder of EventDecision, Matt Grey, remarked: “The emissions associated with this event are low, not only because of the number of attendees and short duration but also due to the mitigation that Church House Westminster has in place already.”.
Mitigations include:
- Utilising 100% renewable energy certification from Marble,
- Plant-forward menus and beverages.
The equivalent offset value was added to an International Projects account for certification.
