Church House: selected as a finalist in the M&IT Awards
Summer is very much hotting up for the team at Church House with the fabulous news that we are a finalist in the M&IT Awards.
This yearʼs ceremony will be held on the 13th September at the Grosvenor Hotel in London – and weʼre already so excited for what will be a fantastic evening. It is an exceptional nomination for us, as M&IT is the voice of the industry, so to be in the Best UK unusual venue category is a dream come true.
Our history shines through
What makes Church House so unique? Weʼre glad you asked! Our building was founded in 1887 to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Now Grade II listed, it has played host to some truly remarkable moments in history. Did you know that during World War II the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, requisitioned the building and made it a base for both Houses of Parliament? Our history is vitally important, but so is the future of our space. By the end of this year, weʼre aiming to become Net Zero. Weʼre hoping to achieve this by putting sustainability and eco-friendly credentials at the heart of all that we do. You can see some of the innovations weʼve made such as installing spray cork insulation in our rooms.
Church House creates diverse events
Letʼs show you one or two of the wonderful events that weʼve hosted in recent times. January 2024 saw us welcome in the vibrance and diversity of Tamil Heritage Month and we marked an evening of celebrations with a splendid showcase of traditions, art, and unity. We were also proud to host the Female Invest ʻInformation Is Powerʼ Event – dedicated to empowering women to achieve financial success – and closing the financial gender gap. Our best moments and highlights are featured in our amazing photo gallery. We have created some truly uplifting events in the past – and our fantastic work will continue.

As you can tell, we are ambassadors of our amazing venue and weʼre thrilled to be finalists in this prestigious ceremony – it is recognition for our superb team of professionals who provide outstanding customer service. Together with our in-house audio-visual team and caterers, Searcys, Church House makes every event one to remember. Our evening at the Grosvenor in September cannot come any sooner!
