On the evening of the 9th of March 2022 Church House Westminster hosted the iESE Awards. The annual Public Sector Transformation Awards, which celebrated its 13th anniversary this year, are an opportunity to celebrate and share the most innovative practice in transforming local public services.
The iESE Awards are open to any public sector organisation across the UK and internationally. This year iESE received 261 award nominations from 81 different public sector organisations from the UK and overseas. It’s been the highest number of nominations seen to date, making it one of the most competitive years ever.
This year the iESE Awards was a hybrid event, with a livestream of the awards ceremony on iESE’s YouTube channel and on Facebook, allowing online participants to share in the celebrations wherever they are in the world. Virtual attendance via MS Teams was utilised to bring finalists on the screen as they are announced. A mix of the 41 finalists attended either online or in-person.
Guests were welcomed to the Westminster venue from the tranquil Dean’s Yard entrance before making their way to the Hoare Memorial Hall for the drinks reception. The awards ceremony, attended by 115 guests, was followed by a seated dinner in the Assembly Hall.
Special recognition was paid to Eliza Ecclestone’s achievements with the announcement of the iESE Chairman’s Award. This award is for a significant contribution to the sector, pushing the boundaries of our current ways of working and leading significant transformations.
