The two Senior Event Coordinators of Church House Westminster – Sarah Ross and Leah Markham – recently completed the program of Sales Office Excellence provided by Paje Consultancy, with distinction.
The virtual course runs over a 12-week period and features nine training modules and assessments on completion. Highlights of the training program include Conference and Event Sales Office enquiry handling best practice working to the latest industry standards and BDRC benchmarking criteria.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to learn together with our peers. I especially liked the breakout groups where we shared many of our current opportunities and challenges in smaller groups”, said Leah Markham.
“We’ve undertaken this training at a crucial time, considering the impact of the pandemic in general on events and venues, in addition to navigating the return from furlough on a personal level. I felt that the training was relevant and essential in understanding how we can operate more effectively as a team and anticipate our clients’ needs even better”, noted Sarah Ross.
