The historic Westminster venue is proud to announce its continued membership of the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers in 2022. ABPCO is the UK’s leading Professional body for Association Conference & Not-for-profit Event Organisation.

The venue has re-joined as industry members, with its Head of Business Development, Marina Papadopoulou, as the member representative.

Marina comments, “Association events remain a growing market for our venue. Working collaboratively with PCOs since we first joined in 2019 means that we can support the pioneering work being done in the sector by ABPCO. Central to this is the networking with the ABPCO community which provides specific learning and opportunities for development when it comes to association events.”.  

ABPCO welcomed more than 35 new members during 2021 across all membership categories. This included a more than 12% net increase in both Full and Associate PCO members. Other membership growth was achieved in the student, entry, partner, and industry member categories.

“This is a significant growth for ABPCO,” comments Association Director, Heather Lishman. “January always provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on our membership change from the previous year. In 2021 we saw a significant increase in our Full PCO members from a range of individuals who recognised the value ABPCO brings to them and their organisations.”
